The font I use for the arrow head was Lucida Sans Unscode, and for the stem I used Franklin Gothic Medium. my strap line is "Elect it" I used it because this class is an elective. I like some of the color versions but I know that a traditional cursor is black and white. I was thinking about doing a white cursor with a black outline but I don't know how it would look. what do you think I should do?

at first I was thinking of incorporating elements of a laptop or mac book into my design. I was trying to add a folding aspect to the text. my folding laptop design morphed into an arrow and then I thought about reworking the arrow to look like a mouse or cursor. I chose to use the phrase "elect it" because this class is an elective. any suggestions on how I could make it look more like a cursor? or if i should use a different design all together? I formed the ear using envelope distort tool and adding a mess. I rotated it and moved it around a bit to have the shape the way I wanted it to be. I like how the ear is shaped, but the exact shape and contour of the ear isn't very visible. how could I improve it or include the earring?I know I made more than three but I was having a lot of fun with the gradient tool. I personally like the the 3rd and 6th ones but I would love to hear what you favorites are. I decided to use pride flags in my color instead of just having it be random colors. I used the regular pride flag (rainbow) along with the bi flag (blue, magenta, purple). I played a lot with gradient here, I wanted to have the colors blend instead of being plain stripes. I would like to mess more with gradient maybe using other pride flags. What do you think? Should I change the colors? Make more with different flag? Use the same colors again but invert it? Pease let me know what you think I should do. I worked on the line and stroke of my logo using adobe illustrator aka a vector program. in my opinion I like the third on the best though I do like number five as well. I enjoyed playing with line and shape though I found it hard at first I did find a way to do it, mostly through practice and patience. below is the versions I made in order. my logo I wanted it to represent me and my style and the type of art I enjoy drawing B&W - basic logo Rainbow - represents pride and that aspect of me. I used curved lines because I find them easier to draw and I prefer the look. I like the look of it being like a silhouette (white on black) rather than more tribal looking (black on white) shown below is my process |
